In this chart of the week we looked at the top 5 Amazon devices used for web access. The data essentially shows you how likely you are to see a user accessing your website from any given Amazon device.
Kindle Fire HD 7 (2nd Generation) accounts for 42% of all Amazon devices used for Web access in the US. Kindle Fire HDX 7 (3rd Generation) comes in second with 20.7%. The remaining third is split between Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (2nd Generation) (14.9%), Kindle Fire HD 7" (3rd Generation) (13.7%) and Kindle Fire (2nd Generation) (8.99%).
Kindle Fire HD 7 (2nd Generation) is even more popular in the UK. It accounts for just over half of all Amazon devices used for Web access. The remaining half is split between: Kindle Fire HD 7" (3rd Generation) (19.9%), Kindle Fire (2nd Generation) (15.6%), Kindle Fire HDX 7" (3rd Generation) (8.5%) and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (2nd Generation) (4.6%).
On the global scale Kindle Fire HD 7 (2nd Generation) is by far the most popular Amazon device used to get online. It accounts for 46% of all Amazon devices used for Web access. Kindle Fire HD 7" (3rd Generation) and Kindle Fire HDX 7" (3rd Generation) are the second and third most favorited Amazon devices used for Web access globally with around 16% share each. The remaining share is split between: Kindle Fire (2nd Generation) (11.3%) and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" (2nd Generation) (10.7%).
