The TV industry's premier annual event is kicking off in Amsterdam today. The IBC 2013 (International Broadcasting Convention) attracts over 50,000 attendees from over 160 countries around the world. To celebrate 51Degrees exhibiting at IBC 2013, we take a look at US web traffic from the most popular TV screen sizes in August 2013.

Earlier this year 51Degrees won DTG's 'Accelerating multi-screen business innovation' award. Part of our prize was an exhibition spot on the DTG stand at IBC 2013, where James, Ruth and Nancy will be attending.

Looking at our new television data from August we can see that 40" TVs are managing to be the most popular for browsing the web, with nearly a 60% share. Popular sizes such as the 32" TVs are still being used to browse the web, but with the likes of the 42" and 50"+ screens becoming more commonplace will we see a drop in traffic share?
